About Me
Jim Donio has founded, expanded, sold, or been the CEO of more than two dozen businesses ranging in annual revenue from $200,000 to $200,000,000, some having received funding and resources through Google and Meta. He was appointed as one of only 12 founding US members of Facebook’s Inaugural National Small and Medium-Sized Business Council and serves on the Meta Leaders Network. In 2023, he was appointed as a Meta AI Sandbox Partner for advanced artificial intelligence tools with Instagram and Facebook.
He has been featured in major media outlets including Advertising Age Magazine, American Express OPEN for Business, NPR, and a variety of other publications, and has lectured and led workshops to regional and national audiences. Mr. Donio is currently a partner in numerous privately held equity companies and trusts. In addition to his extensive for-profit background, he has been actively involved with philanthropic causes and has served on numerous non-profit boards and commissions for more than 25 years. He was recently honored with the National Humanitarian Award by the United States Sons of Italy Foundation and was awarded the New Jersey State Governor’s Jefferson Award for Volunteerism and Community Leadership. He earned his B.A. in Business Administration from the Villanova University School of Business, and is based in New York and Hammonton, New Jersey.
